I’m so glad you’re here!
My name is Erika Lauren Bennett and I just entered my mid-30s (ouch! that hurts to type). I was born and raised in a small town in Central Florida. I went to college at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, then moved back to Central Florida for eight years. In 2017, I moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, for three years and then landed in Asheville, North Carolina, with my fiancé, for two years. We also adopted two sweet kittens, Hemingway and Harper in 2020.
Now, we’re officially Floridians (again), and we’ve got a house renovation ahead of us, as well as a summer full of all the best activities South Florida has to offer and I can’t wait to take y’all along for the ride that is sure to be wild!
My personal style focuses on classic, southern looks. During the spring and summer, I’m all about linen button downs, denim shorts, flowy sundresses, bright lipstick, a deep tan, colorful accessories, and a straw bag. I love classic investment pieces (mostly handbags) that go with any outfit. Mostly though, I love finding new ways to mix high and low pieces together for a casual but pulled together look.
In 2022, I created the Intracoastal Aunt aesthetic, which is the more approachable, colorful (both style and language, modern, coastal woman.
Skincare is KING in my life. Growing up in Florida, I’m no stranger to the damaging effects the sun’s rays can have on our skin, but I also love a good tan during the summer months. So, that means I’m constantly working to incorporate newer, better skincare products into my beauty routine. I can’t wait to share my favorite products and tips along the way.
I’m a beauty product junkie, so I’m always finding and trying new makeup and hair products from places like Sephora, Ulta, and Blue Mercury.
Again, I’m so glad you’re here! Please contact me for brand partnerships.
